The General Theory of Energy

Ali and I, 4 years ago come up with a theory on how the universe works (lols no kidding). In our own little world, we believed it true. Ali presented it at an Intl. conference at Bi Kanor (the Russian space facility). He won the grand prize. Then we went to college and forgot all about it.

Today, we interviewed this dude who had worked at top research labs around the world (BAE, Defence Dept. etc etc). Very interesting guy. Spoke for like 3 hours with him after which i basically wanted to get back to theoretical physics. Eventually one day, I will....

Until then, heres a thought:

Close to the speed of light, time dialates, length shortens, mass increases. Most physics students know how to derive formulae from special relativity, but my questions is HOW? If mass = cummulative number of atoms : what makes it increase? Does the kinetic energy due to motion add 'mass'? Similarly, if length is defined as (x) number of atoms in a row (roughly speaking), then why does that decrease? And time : how? (sure i know the formulas, but i never understood why?). Sci-fi writers have loads of fun with this, but really if I am travelling at 0.99 c, will i actually age slower? Is biological time different from scientific time? (by now you're probably really bored, so i'll shut up) =)
