finally
i just realized that i last posted screenshots of the new interfaces on 2.23.2006. and we're finally uploading today, 3 weeks later. this has been the wackiest, weirdest, and toughest upload since we started xuqa, and hopefully it will happen today.
Xuqa will be down for 6-8 hours today while these changes are being done. i'm sorry for the interruption in service, and we hope to be back to our usual helpful state as soon as mySQL allows. In the meantime, enjoy PACMAN :)

is anyone else having trouble logging in? i've talked to 2 friends and they're both having the same problem.. login info is definitely correct, but it gives this message:
Invalid Login Name or Password.
Remember: if you've already linked your XuQa account to Hotmail, Gmail, or Yahoo!, then your old XuQa password will no longer work.

Some bugs still need to be worked out it seems... and where's the Google Map feature?! Was looking forward to that. LOL

Sad! It's totally still not up! I was so excited to see the new look!
it was up for a bit after midnight, but apparently it's down again.
apparently 6-8 hours is code for over a day ;D
Just give them time to work everything out - I'd rather have it be down for a day or so to get everything right than seeing a million blogs about all the gliches and complaints from members.
Be patient, it's one of the greatest virtues in life.
will be cool to see the new look, when are you launching it in the UK? some people at UWA want back on desperately and that aint happening until theres moderators etc
We have moderators in the US, I know for sure. And with the way things are set-up now.. you can't post blogs w/ certain terms in "the lobby", and you also can't post anon in "the lobby" anymore. :)
I still can't wait for the mapping feature, as well as the "popular people" feature, that shows daily rankings for people via profile visits, unique visitors, daily kisses, daily tickles, etc

xuqa is back up and stable - go play with it and let us know what you think.
noah - Xuqa+google maps just got stable TODAY :) I'm so excited - but there is a small problem, google won't allow us to do more than 5 million pageviews per month with it. We do that sort of traffic almost daily. Any ideas on how to work around this problem?
The maps and peanut poker are scheduled for upload this upcoming weekend, fingers crossed...
Just have the maps be a purchasable option (with peanuts). Set the price high enough and you should be able to limit to views.
Or couldn't you just use different hosts? Like www.xuqa.com and www.xuqa2.com and www.xuqa3.com to offset the massive monthly hits?
And yes, 250 peanuts a week for maps might not be a bad idea. BUT you'll have to also increase the amount of ways we can obtain peanuts, etc.
