XuQa 2.0 : Set to launch Aug 15th
After 6 months in development, XuQa 2.0 is finally set to release in just over a month (launch date: Aug 15th). Some of the major changes are:
1. XuQa is turning into a massive social game
2. Completely customizable profiles
3. Gift shop = no more. Replaced by an item shop. Items need to be bought and give the owner special powers inside XuQa
4. Cleaner and more intuative UI
5. Levels that are linked to your popularity level on XuQa. Higher levels gives you access to cooler items / rewards both inside and outside of XuQa. Watch out for some awesome real world prizes for getting to level 9 /10.

I'm looking forward to it. But please allow for an option to show the latest forum/blog posts on the main page once you login. That is usually the first thing I check. :)

BUT will the amount of friends you have affect your rating???
cuz, there is lots of people who like to keep their friends list short (myself included), so i hope that it would not.

rawr, the amount of friends you have on your friends list will NOT affect the rating. Only 2 things will affect the rating:
1. # of profile views
2. # of hands won in poker
if you're not good at either one of these, you can use the other to make up for it to a large extent.
antoinette, the forums are going to be pretty similar to the blogs that we have now, except for some formatting changes and high-level privileges. people's picture thumbnails (small) will now display next to their comments for example.
for people who don't play poker, it will be harder to level up, though it will still be possible by being popular and active on xuqa. getting lots of profile views from other people will help a lot to make up for poker deficiencies :)

im moving back to orange county to go to occ again, and i would like my profile to state that :-/
rawr, yes you will be able to change your location/school.
And how about the ability to have "folders" for your pictures? Or an easier to view thumbnail view? (instead of 8 across, have 8 across and 5 down)
