I dont want to reach level 10. I joined xuqa to keep in contact with and chat to friends. In this new iteration you have managed to remove and sense of community within it!
If it stays like this, I think you will quickly find long time users moving to other sites...

we have taken the site down for bug fixing...
if the site is up with bugs, you guys can lose your peanuts, profiles etc. so the site is down and we are fixing some bugs, to make the site stable.
it will be back up soon.
we want the old XuQa....it's not comfortable,,,!!

over the last 1 year, we've made 3 major updates to xuqa. everytime, people have complained, mostly b/c there are lots of bugs in the beginning. but after a few days when people get used to the new site, they come to really love it.
give it a few days...once you get used to the new system, you'll like much better than the old one.

In fairness you have made a few updates to the site, mostly welcomed ones. BUT it was always a friends network, it even maintained a strong Aber following even after the uni blocked it!!
now we must actively compete? As much as it gauls me, as much as ive resisted it.. im gonna have to make a myspace account :-(
university community was a great idea but now you changed it to a poker community...

xuqa has games and poker now, but its still a friends site. some things we have done to make it more fun as a FRIENDS site:
1. added more actions for friends, like slap, kick, kiss, tickle, hug etc
2. added profile customization. that means everyone's profile can be UNIQUE. you can make it whatever you want, and add music and videos to it also.
3. better privacy controls - now you can set even more limits on who can see your profile, and scrap you. this will prevent abuse.
4. Better BLOCK system. now you can just paste someone's link into the block section, and that person won't be able to see your profile or contact you.
wait till the new site comes back up, you'll see it's all there :)
xuqa had a great design with his college social networking possibility, but now it became another hi5, we want our old "unique" xuqa, not hi5 or a poker game site
please delete profile customization and add the old college network
colleges will still be there, no worries.
for a real college social network, you should try facebook.

when we look our friedns list pictures have a funny frame that makes photos look bad. you can delete those frames.. useless i guess
good point...we'll fix all these small issues in the next few days.

you will still be able to enter your college, and search people by colleges. no worries :)
the new xuqa is everything the old xuqa was + games, poker and competitions. that is all. all the old stuff is still there. it's just in a different place, so you'll have to look for it.

The one thing I miss is being able to buy presents for people. I loved doing that for birthdays. Any chance we'll get to see some of the old presents returned? :)
Oh, and on the PROFILE page... any chance we can get the YEAR we joined too? :)

Noah: we removed gifts because people on a whole had stopped gifting. The gift numbers were down and it was a logical thing to do.
All the Anon: We respect all that, but just because the site has bugs, doesnt mean its bad. Bugs are inevitable, give it 2-3 days and they all will be fixed.
bugs are not problem but design it's very bad, please change to old design but keep the new features. we want a social network site not a poker game site
all the anons suck...... seriously this new 2.0 shit rocks.... i like the fact xuqa isnt like myspace anymore... lord knows how many social networks there are out there... xuqa seems to be trying to create a new category for themselves... dont know if it will work or not..but dude seriosuly have u seen the hot poker rooms with customized backgrounds and shit... they rock
I sort of agree. XuQa is still about you and your friends. We're trying to solve the question of 'what more is there to do' once you and get friends are on the site. Do let us know how you feel about this.
