POST
Am I the only one who thinks that this whole thing is pointless? Facebook is much more interesting, and doesn't have all the unecessary adornments that Xuqa does.

Pointless? No. It's entertainment... most of these forum-type posts don't muster more intelligence than a B-Net kiddie and it's pretty hilarious (and simultaneously oh so depressing) to read such things.

I agree with that last comment. The blogs are extremely addictive and if I'm near a computer this is the site I'm usually on writing something in one of these things. ON facebook there's isn't much to do unless someone writes on your wall. I spend a couple minutes on facebook incase someone has added me as a friend and then I come to this site.

I think xuqa is way better for talking to people from all over. When it comes to people from your school they really limit it to the opposite sex, but that was obviously their intention and anyone who doesnt want to hook up on here wont. Facebook is more personal, and is used more to connect you to the people you ALREADY know, and make fun groups!thats my take

Well, when they first built a car, everyone was like "wtf, we have horses, why would we use this complicated peace of junk?"

I was disagreeing with the post, not your comment, obviously, you posted just before I did

by Rondelle Trinidad @ 10:42 AM on September 28
theres only so much you can update your profile and join groups on facebook. Xuqa has novelties which some people like and others dont like the crushes and gifts. Also it has this blog feature which facebook has still yet to put on its site. So yeah, you theorectically can have people from the 900 plus colleges all over the United States talking to each other in this blog form which we are doing now.

this has been entertaining for me since yesterday

by Sara Boeding @ 10:41 AM on September 28
I disagree...I think the blogs are an obvious advantage of this site, although I must admit, it's difficult for me to be productive b/c I'm so addicted to this thing.

Cookie bug...
for some people using IE, the site doesnt let you login/register and asks to enable cookies. A quick fix is using Firefox / mozilla. Give us a couple of hours and it should be fixed. Sorrie for the trouble.

I am a blind person who was invited to this site by another user. As many other sites have chosen to do, you have utilized the word verification mode of preventing evil from entering your site in the form of spammers' robots that autoregister people. However, I cannot see to write a word in a box that is an image. How do I register to a site that does that?

---- wow : respect

man, i am addicted to this stuff. XuQa more than huQa admittedly. It is after all, as Prosper puts it, for the grown and sexy.

We're looking to build a public API. A handful of coders / graphic designers have already shown interest in developing plugins for the site. If you're interested in being part of this group, drop us a line (08mmh(at the rate)williams.edu).

Imagine XuQa where you can make your own gift items, play with profiles on blogs, develop complex apps based on peoples rating at your school, do fun things with peoples crushes....

Lots of fun stuff ahead...

Our first review : -D

Sunday, Sept 18th www.xuqa.com launches. It's official.
Its been a year now since Ali, Prosper I have been working together. Its been hard - but i'd rather be doing this then attending 8:30 am classes. Tonite the big nite boys :-p Fingers crossed.

welcome to huQa, from Becca. In true huQa style :p

we live here. come drop by.

Its 12:47 am. Prosper seems to have collapsted from utter exhaustion and lack of sleep. His last words before collapsing were 'no man we gotta upload'. The computer screen didn't change after that. I looked over and he was out.

Nomi has gone to drop the boys back home. Kamis out for dinner. Other than that, it seems its just us tonight. Right now with just the three of us, it seems just like the old iVentster days. Just the three of us. Busting our asses. Waiting for good things to happen.

I must say though, we have some pretty hard-core, im gonna **ck this shit type of people working with us. Feels nice to know that someones got your back.

Xuqa.com will be released soon. Its meant to be huQa for the grown and sexy (as Prosper likes to call it). We're roaring all engines on this one. Gotta take the 800 pound guerilla down. And gotta do it fast.

So we've said no to college. We're here working 16 hours a day (heck there should be labor laws for us too!). And all this hangs in the fate of things that we dont really understand / cant predict. After everything, its pretty much like a game of poker. You get your cards and from then on, play the best you can, and hope that your combo wins you the day.

We had the shortest US visa interview ever. 5 minutes and we walked out with a visa.

In other news, we're adding another _uqa.com to the list of brands (huqa.com and huqas.com). Stayed tunned.

*** enjoy it while it lasts

Hola Boys!
Its been a tough week for all of us. We've been living here at the office for a week, only going home everyday to sleep for a couple of hours. We're at the point of exhaustion. My body freaking hurts coz of lack of sleep. And it seems things are bad. Ah well shit has a way of happening. Not having slept more than 5 hours each day for a week is BAD BAD BAD. Not sustainable. Yet it seems our best ideas come in the shittiest of times.

Most people here have been busting their asses too. Nomi, Asad, Kami, Fahad, Fayaz, Qurat etc. Its getting overwhelming - we're so tempted to say fuck it. But we didnt come all this way to turn back..

Thehighlist.com is having trouble. I personally think if they stuck it out, good things will happen to them. Bo Pebody told us once that in a start-up you need to survive till the end of the day. You do it enough, and you'll pull through.

* party pic # 69

We launch. Finally after weeks of 'almost launching' its done. Its freaking done. Can't believe it. Every one is out with their products, after spending the summer in R&D. May be best site kick everyone else.

On our part, we've tried to take social networking from just profile stalking to modeling real life behavior, online. Blowing kisses, sending gifts, tickling, virtual dating, lots and lots of pictures, uber-kool rating system. Shit this sounds like a freaking commercial. Screw it. At 5 am i cant really write much. All i know is, this is gonna rock! (its next generation social networking baby!)

Remember name your kids after us :D

**** luv ya all!
