The General Theory of Energy

Ali and I, 4 years ago come up with a theory on how the universe works (lols no kidding). In our own little world, we believed it true. Ali presented it at an Intl. conference at Bi Kanor (the Russian space facility). He won the grand prize. Then we went to college and forgot all about it.

Today, we interviewed this dude who had worked at top research labs around the world (BAE, Defence Dept. etc etc). Very interesting guy. Spoke for like 3 hours with him after which i basically wanted to get back to theoretical physics. Eventually one day, I will....

Until then, heres a thought:

Close to the speed of light, time dialates, length shortens, mass increases. Most physics students know how to derive formulae from special relativity, but my questions is HOW? If mass = cummulative number of atoms : what makes it increase? Does the kinetic energy due to motion add 'mass'? Similarly, if length is defined as (x) number of atoms in a row (roughly speaking), then why does that decrease? And time : how? (sure i know the formulas, but i never understood why?). Sci-fi writers have loads of fun with this, but really if I am travelling at 0.99 c, will i actually age slower? Is biological time different from scientific time? (by now you're probably really bored, so i'll shut up) =)

XuQa ppl we need your input

XuQa folks: these guys want to partner with us with the following product. Would you all want some thing like this? Thoughts / comments / feedback?

Ever leave home with an away message up on AIM and wish you could check your messages from wherever you happen to be? Of course you have! For years, people have wished for a way to see the IMs they've been received since leaving home without actually being home. Now, a company called IMCourier, founded by a pair of college students, has something that'll let you do just that. It's totally free to use, and you don't get bombarded with ridiculous pop-up ads or spyware programs. To get started, you sign up for a login account at IMCourier.com. Then, you download a small program that runs in the background on your home PC. The software links with your login account at IMCourier.com. That's it. Now, whether you're at a friend's PC, a library computer, a T-Mobile Sidekick, or pretty much anything with a web browser, you can log in and see all the IMs you've got since leaving home. You can even respond to the IMs right from your personal panel. IMCourier works with AOL Instant Messenger and ICQ.We want to bring IMCourier to your XuQa profiles. Chances are, you check your XuQa profile from all kinds of places other than your own PC at home or the dorm. Adding an IMCourier login panel to your XuQa page will let you check your IMs in the same fluid motion without having to visit different websites. What do you think?

Xuqalebrities

So there's an interesting term xuqa users have invented: Xuqalebrities, defined losely as...

a combination of a Xuqan and a Celebrity; a Xuqalebrity is someone who is admired, loved or hated (in effect worshipped) on xuqa. A Xuqalebrity enjoys being in the center of the spotlight, and is often an opinionated individual. Xuqalebrities always have dedicated followers regardless of the hour of day or time of year. Some popular early Xuqalebrities that are part of Xuqa lore are Misty (stabbin') pheonix , Rondelle Trinidad, Noah Kronemeyer, Celisse, Matt, Scott Ahearn and Paul Ryu.

I love the word so much I think we're actually going to make a section on the site about it, with Xuqalebrities featured for the masses to see.
